I've moved to a new server which is proving much more reliable than my previous web-hosting company
(that's an understatement)!Unfortunately, a lot of data was lost, including all previous forum posts and information. Despite backups that were supposed to have been undertaken by my web-host, this data was still lost.
There are some significant changes happening:-
- Some site re-design is underway which is quite intensive. Many of the changes will be cosmetic only and the basic style of the site will remain unchanged
- We are now using SMF (Simple Machines v2) software for our Forums. This is a vastly improved product that we previously had in use (Gossamer Forum). Please be patient whilst we do some changes to these templates to fit in completely with our site.
- We also lost all our email subscribers to Affiliate News Ezine (around 10,000). We are unfortunately starting from scratch!
- The introduction of a 'blog' is being explored (most likely Wordpress) but integration may be an issue due to our main database and scripts being .cgi based.
